On the first opening day more than 48,000 visitors visited in the cathedral of Turin's to see the holy shroud of Jesus. Even heavy rain on Sunday could stop people to wait up to two
hours before seeing the holy shroud with the image of a crucified man. The shroud was public for the first time since ten years.
I arrived with my family on 09.April 2010. We had to trevel from Hamburg to Turin about 12 hours. On Saturday, 10. April the weather was very good at 22°C in
Turin. The next day the temperature fall to 9°C. Nevertheless, an incredible number of people were there to see shroud.
